Spring Break and More

I won't bore you with all my excuses for not blogging, but it boils down to - I don't know what I'm doing. Blogger has updated and Picasa, where we download our pictures, has updated and my brain . . . well, it hasn't updated. I've been struggling with it all and still don't have it figured out.  I finally pulled some stuff together -  HAPPY SPRING!

Tommy's friend from his mission
flew in from Australia and visited us for a few days.
A concert at House of Blues was first on the agenda.
Daniel and Tommy to the left
with new friends they met at the concert.

Tom and Daniel
Right before Daniel left.

We had our share of sickness in recent weeks, but nothing tops Tommy's nightmare.  How does he get into these situations? Tom had a great camp out with some friends over spring break, but YIKES!  POISON OAK!  Thank goodness for oatmeal baths, calamine lotion, prednisone, and antibiotics.  He's still itching!
I couldn't figure out how to get this video on my blog, so check it out on my facebook. It's a fun video covering some highlights of Tommy's trip before the poison oak set in.

Tommy at the peak of his poison oak nightmare.

"If I stand here, I can see the Little Red Haired girl when she comes out of her house...Of course, if she sees me peeking around this tree, she'll think I'm the dumbest person in the world...But if I don't peek around the tree, I'll never see her...Which means I probably AM the dumbest person in the world...which explains why I'm standing in a batch of poison oak."

Words of Charlie Brown from Charles Schultz Peanuts

Janna and Bailey
made a trip to Utah over spring break.
They had a big agenda.
Part of it was going to the Salt Lake Temple.
Happily, they saw Janet.
Uncle Adam and Sally went with them too.

Janna's B-day Party at Jamba Juice

Bailey is gone and working in Florida for the summer.

Guess who surprised us?
Here from Puerto Rico . . .

Ammo and JoJo

Dexter and Cassie

And last, but not least,
Tommy and Ariel, last weekend, ready for the Prom.
Ariel will be leaving for her mission next week,
serving in Salt Lake City at Temple Square.

Hopefully I'll blog sooner instead of later as I struggle with the new, supposedly improved,  format of Blogger and Picasa.  See ya!

  1. Oh, poor Tommy! The poison oak certainly won a battle, but hopefully Tommy will emerge victorious from the war.

  2. I was just talking to my mom today and saying how I didn't know how all the Blairs were because you had stopped blogging( I have not been so good myself), and she informed me that you had just updated. Fun to see all your photos. Tommy really looks pitiful. I love the picture of everyone at Jamba for Janna's b-day. anyway, thanks for the update! from one of your followers :)
